Fenech Guitars are built by hand on the beautiful Gold Coast, Queensland. Lead by Master Craftsman Aaron Fenech, he along side his team are building some of Australia's most exquisite acoustic and electric guitars to local and international acclaim.
 

Combining the best of tradtional and modern construction methods and techniques, Aaron masterfully blends tried and true wood combinations with new and exciting twists, along with his own body designs to create the best sounding and playing guitars possible.

Meet Aaron Fenech, Master Builder of Fenech Guitars.

Each Fenech guitar is lovingly crafted by hand. This personal connection to the instrument ensures not only the best woods are used, but the right woods are used. 

This hands on method allows for each piece of timber to be tone tested and matched to the other timbers used in the construction of your new Fenech. Tone testing and matching timbers is a timely process, but is absoutely essential to having a guitar with strong projection, beautiful tone, sustain and character. This process is something that the Fenech team won't compromise on, and this adds to the list of why these guitars sound and feel the way they do.

The first tier of Fenech guitars starts with the VT Series.

The VT features all solid construction and is feature rich. Available in all four body shapes, with your choice of AA Blackwood, New Guinea Rosewood or Camphor Laurel back and sides with a AA Sitka Spruce top. With these 3 tonal options it becomes clearer what VT stands for: Volume and Tone. These wood options along with the different body shapes allow you to find the sound you're looking for, in an affordable but high quality package.  

Coupled with a one piece solid New Guinea Rosewood neck and Ebony fretboard and bridge, Graph Tech Tusq nut, saddle and bridge pins. The custom Fenech soundhole mounted pickup round out the features for the VT Series.

The VT is perfect for the player looking for an upgrade into their first serious guitar, a gigworthy workhorse. Equally usable at home or on stage, the VT provides incrdible value for money for all situations.

The VTH builds off the same incredible features, high quality hand selected timbers and hands on build aproach as the VT Series. The VTH features a hardwood for the soudboard, adding extra richness. 

Australian Blackwood was chosen for its tonal properties like a blend of Mahogany and Indian Rosewood, with it's strong midrange and rich, bright treble response. If you're after a a slightly more focused and stronger bass response, the VTH is also available as an all New Guinea Rosewood model.

The VTH is available in all four body shapes, with prices at $3499 for Blackwood or NG Rosewood models.

The VT Professional (VT-Pro) Series is the third tier in the range and if its visually striking looks don’t capture your attention, its tone and playability surely will! 

Stepping up into the VT Pro series is visually easily identifiable, using AAA grade woods with striking grain patterns. The VT Pro combines a AAA Sitka Spruce top with a beautiful AAA Blackwood back and sides, this not only makes a visually striking instrument, but creates a broad tonal range to explore.

Standard features throughout the Fenech range include the one piece NG Rosewood neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge with Mother of Pearl inlays, Fenech A1G pickup and moulded TKL hardcase.

The VT Professional (VT-Pro) Rosewood Series is the fourth tier in our range and features premium East Indian Rosewood with a uniquely modified aesthetic and a familiar bold voice.
Indian Rosewood is often considered the king of tone woods. It has a strong reputation for being one of the very best back and side materials used for guitar making throughout history. Its tonal profile often extends from clear trebles all the way through to bold basses with a slightly scooped mid-range.

It’s a reliable tone wood with a reliable sound and it is steeped in history given you can fingerpick it, strum it and flat pick it.
Every aspect of handcrafting this series is easily identifiable from the use of premium AAA East Indian Rosewood and AAA quality soundboard material, which is purposely voiced to enable the player the opportunity to experience a broader tonal range.

It is these aspects mixed with some unique appointments only found in high quality boutique handmade guitars that set this series apart.

When it comes to the Master Built Series, Aaron Fenech leaves no stone unturned in the search for what is or what could be a unique selection of tone woods and aesthetics for his guitars! He has built a reputation on producing exquisite guitars utilising both traditional tone woods and the obscure pairings of exotic and native Australian timbers to bring a blend of strong tonal profiles and stunning aesthetics.  
Each Master Built Series guitar is personally hand crafted and constructed by Aaron Fenech blending both traditional and modern techniques. Using only master grade tone woods for this series, the same hands-on approach to individually thickness and carve internal braces to voice each of the guitars made assures that the tone of these guitars is simply mind-blowing and carry all the hallmarks of Fenech guitars no compromise approach to achieving visually stunning instruments with outstanding volume and tone.
