DiMarzio Potentiometers are a high quality drop in replacement or upgrade option to hel you find the tone you've been chasing.

Potentiometers or Pots for short are used for volume and tone controls on your guitar. These components have a great deal of impact on the sound of your instrument and by varying the amount of resistance or the taper, different tones can be achieved. These potentiometers can be used as either a volume or tone knob and are custom audio (logarithmic) taper which sound more natural as you move through the resistance range.

The paired DPDT switch and push/pull functionality gives you the added wire points to create series/parallel switching, coil-tapping, and phase switching. We even include a convenient solder point for grounding at the switch base, so that all of your wires will cleanly run in one direction, eliminating the need for any soldering to the pot itself. 

As a rule of thumb for figuring out what value potentiometer you're after is:,
Single coil pickups are usually paired with 250K pots
Humbucker pickups are usually paired with 500K pots.
1 Meg pots can be a great tone pot upgrade

Generally the higher the potentiometer value, the more high end will pass through.

These are the reccomended pairings, but there is no right and wrong, use your ears to decide which works best for you. There are also over values available like 1M ohm, which can be a fantastic tone pot upgrade.
