The Artino Practice Mute for violin is designed to significantly reduce the volume of your instrument. Ideal for people who practice late at night, live in an apartment, or live with people who have to live with a beginner string player! This mute will cut out around 70% of the original volume, but still allows you to hear what’s going on. 

The mute is made from metal which gives it weight and unlike most heavy-duty mutes, the Artino mute has a soft rubber covering that protects the bridge from damage. The mute is very easy to put on and off, gently squeeze it on the top of the bridge, ensuring that the prongs aren't touching any of the strings.

The Artino Practice Mute will fit 3/4 and 4/4 violins and 13"-16.5" violas. Comes in a handy storage case.
